Welcome to All Saints
Church, Crathorne
from the
Rector, Pam Sanders.

There has been a Christian church
presence in the village for many centuries which is carried on both by ourselves at All Saints and at the Catholic Church
of St Mary, just up the road from us.
Our regular service times are as below, although when there is fifth Sunday
in a month the service may be held in another church, as Crathorne is one of five churches which I look after: the others
are All Saints, Hutton Rudby; St Martin, Kirklevington; St Cuthbert, Middleton and All Saints, Worsall. Having 3 churches
called 'All Saints' means that I usually have say 'WhichAll Saints' when answering enquiries, particularly
for weddings.
The church is in a beautiful position and is itself a lovely building which was rebuilt at the end
of the 19th century but still retains some ancient stones. To see All Saints Crathorne in spring, surrounded by daffodils,
is very special. The congregation is very welcoming if you would like to attend a service, or you might like to wander in
the churchyard and absorb the peace there.
We have special services for Easter, Remembrance, Harvest and Christmas,
including a Christingle on Christmas Eve; notices about these are in the church porch some weeks ahead.
